Comments: Well band, yet another year is quickly coming to a close. And for some of us, these next few weeks will be our last. I want to thank everyone for, well, an interesting senior year. It wasn't quite what I expected my final year to be like, but then again our band's unique-ness seems to be becoming a trademark. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better Senior year. We had many ups and downs along the way, but in the end it's what has made this year worth it. You guys have ALL been great- members, boosters, staff, everyone-, and It's going to hurt to have to say goodbye next month. This band and everyone involved in it is what has made me into the person that I am today. I love you all, and couldn't be more proud of you. I'll miss you, and wish you all the best of luck in your futures. I can't wait to come back and see you perform during marching season! I may be graduating, but you won't get rid of me that easily :) And I EXPECT you to be kicking butt this fall! I love you guys

The Greenup County "Band of Pride", is under the direction of Russell Davis. We are very lucky to have Mr. Davis because without him the band would not be were it is today

The Greenup County band is full of hard-working, and dedicated individuals. We are very talented, but are willing to learn and try new, and better things.

Organization News

Thanks to all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. who have helped in concessions, with uniforms, bringing drinks and snacks, and coming to the games and competitions to cheer our kids on and show how much we support the Greenup County Band!! Keep up the good work! What a great group of band boosters we have this year!! And we are looking forward to new parents and others who will help us again this year!!

Standard Band T-Shirt's can be ordered (see Leonard Bayes if you want one, they they are around $10.00-$12.00 each, I think sizes S-3X).

We want to encourage everyone to continue to be supportive and helpful during this year, with the kids, the competitions, and the concessions! And NEW parents and friends, if you want to help, don't wait to be asked! Show up and ask what needs to be done. I'm sure you will be put to work!

Students, when auditions come up for honors bands, District bands, etc., please audition. You can't make if you don't at least try!! And if you have tried before and didn't make it, practice and experience may be the key to you making it this year!! But always audition
