The Greenup County "Band of Pride", is under the direction of Russell Davis.  Mr. Davis has been with the Greenup County School system for 6 years.  He is an amazing band director and musician.  The Greenup County band is full of hard-working, and dedicated individuals.  We are very talented, but are willing to learn and try new, and better things. 

 Organization News:

Thanks to all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. who have helped in concessions, with uniforms, bringing drinks and snacks, and coming to the games and competitions to cheer our kids on and show how much we support the Greenup County Band!!  Keep up the good work!  What a great group of band boosters we have this year!! And we are looking forward to new parents and others who will help us again                                                                         this year!!

We want to encourage everyone to continue to be supportive and helpful during this year, with the kids, the competitions, and the concessions!  And NEW parents and friends, if you want to help, don't wait to be asked!   Show up and ask what needs to be done.  I'm sure you will be put to work!

Students, when auditions come up for honors bands, District bands, etc., please audition.  You can't make if you don't at least try!! Also, if you have tried before and didn't make it, practice and experience may be the key to you making it this year;  But always audition!!
